Fugetsu-Do Confectionary is a family-owned mochi and manju sweet shop located in the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles, California. Since 1903, Fugetsu-Do has been creating the finest Japanese mochi and manju, cherished by generations of customers for over a century.

Long line, no easy or free parking, and nothing in the store that you can't find elsewhere like Nijiya, Mitsuwa, or Tokyo Central. The wait time is minimal even with the snaking line coming out...

Tried variety of their mochi and those are seriously the best. My fave is the strawberry filling, its just perfect combination of sweet and chewy. Must go when you are in the area.
