In-Home Supportive Services Consortium is a nonprofit home care agency that serves senior citizens throughout San Francisco. The agency employs a staff of more than 500 individuals. Its clients are referred by the by the Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS). The agency also serves adults with various disabilities. In-Home Supportive Services Consortium offers meal preparation, sweeping, cleaning and dusting services. It also provides a variety of nursing and medical care services. The agency offers a range of personal care services, such as bathing, dressing, grooming and skin rubbing. It has been in operation since 1985. The agency partners with Long Term Care Coordinating Council and the Human Services Network. In-Home Supportive Services Consortium has served up to 6,500 individuals.
