Founded in 1999, The Crucible is a nonprofit educational facility that offers classes in fine and industrial arts. It also serves as a sculpture studio, educational foundry and metal fabrication shop. The educational facility provides classes in blacksmithing, ceramics, jewelry, woodworking, stone work, enameling, welding and textile. The Crucible organizes various events, fundraiser programs and open houses, including The Fire Art Festival and anniversary celebrations. Kid loved ceramics camp. Will return this summer. Husband learned a lot at welding 101 class. Safety first. Good people.

I've only been there at their open houses and see what they offer and think it's amazing. I would recommend anybody who's into creating things to go there
