First founded in 1958 as Las Animas Wood Products, Durango Wood Company carries on the rich tradition of woodworking and milling in Colorado by offering only real wood products in standard and custom designs. Our mission is to create timeless, high-quality wood products to transform ordinary houses into extraordinary living spaces. Telluride Gravel originated in Telluride, Colorado in 1972 and was later inherited by Pete Ballode in 1989. The company quickly grew from a small supplier and limited construction operation into a full service material supply and construction services under Pete’s management. Now we offer a complete line of services throughout the western slope of Colorado including aggregate and ready-mix production, site work, mass excavation, utility installation, building material supply, snow removal and trucking.
