CJ'S CRAB SHACK BEGAN LONG AGO It all started in 1921 when Grandaddy Gus came over from Greece. The first thing he did was invent our now famous "deviled crab" (a crab cake which is baked and served in its original shell). Growing up we watched Granny Jewel masterfully season her shrimp, crabs and fish to perfection. Visited the restaurant for the stone crabs, our first time and the crab claws were not amazing. Ask for the price before ordering, the market place on 1/1/26 was $50/lb, which was about 4 claws....

The food was wonderful! Everything we ate just absolutely delicious, even the Alfredo side dish was perfectly flavored. The service was also amazing and the staff was very personable.
