Formed in 1968, MicroPath Laboratories is a consultative and diagnostic anatomic laboratory. Based in Lakeland, Fla., It specializes in the areas of breast pathology, cytopathology, dermatopathology gastro intestinal, gynecology, hermatopathology, and molecular pathology. The laboratory serves ambulatory surgery centers, hospital laboratories, endoscopy center, multi-specialty medical clinics, national clinical laboratories and over 500 physicians throughout Central Florida. DermatoPath, GI Path, GynoPath, HemePath, MicroPath and GU Path are divisions of MicroPath Laboratories. The GI Path provides expertise in the analysis of GI specimens. HemePath specializes in diagnostic evaluations and consultations for treating disorders of blood, bone marrow and lymphoid tissue.
