Come December, the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade marks the official start to the holiday season in Fort Lauderdale. Hundreds of decorated boats and festive superyachts float down a 12-mile route on the New River as a crowd of more than a million people gather to take in the sights and lights. There are even live bands, viewing parties, and black tie balls to add to the holiday cheer.

Great parade. Anyone who hasn't gone needs to attend. It's a Fort Lauderdale tradition.
