Atlas Cold Storage operates one of the largest public refrigerated warehouse networks in North America. Atlas Cold Storage Income Trust, through its operating division, Atlas Cold Storage, provides a supply chain for the frozen and chilled food industry. Through the company s network of more than 55 facilities including one in Pendergrass, Ga., Atlas Cold Storage provides temperature-controlled storage and logistics services to processors, distributors, food service providers and retailers throughout North America. Most Atlas facilities utilize radio frequency scanners for receiving, picking, physical inventories and recording catch weights. Radio frequency identification is becoming an integral part of the supply chain.
