Save A Lot

Started in 1977, Save-A-Lot is one of the leading grocery chains in the United States, operating approximately 1,200 value-oriented stores in all types of neighborhoods, including urban, rural and suburban. Based in Effingham, Ill., it offers products in various categories, such as dairy and eggs; frozen food; rice, pasta and beans; snacks; cereals and breakfast; breads and baking as well as baby needs, to name a few. The store carries a number of brands, including Kaskey's, Ginger Evans, Port Side and Shaner's.
