History

Think Abroad was officially incorporated as a limited liability company in the State of Illinois in 2006; but, before then, unofficially sent it's first client abroad to Costa Rica in 2004. After participating in a three-month Spanish immersion program in San Jose, Costa Rica in 2002, the founder returned to the U.S. with Spanish speaking skills (which did not exist before) and a business idea that involved sending people of all ages and backgrounds to abroad to study and learn Spanish. Since then, Think Abroad has grown up. The Founder, Peter, states,
