The Possible Project
The Possible Zone (TPZ) is a youth development program based in Boston, MA, that prepares high school students from under-resourced communities for innovative careers of the future. Through an engaging and hands-on approach, TPZ helps students develop an entrepreneurial mindset, skills, and social capital, providing them with unique experiential opportunities to dream, create, and grow. With access to state-of-the-art makerspaces and technology, work-based learning opportunities with local companies, and wrap-around support services, TPZ students develop valuable social-emotional skills, knowledge, and networks needed for postsecondary and career success. TPZ's mission is to provide the space, resources, and support that students need to succeed in high school and beyond. By fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, TPZ empowers students to shape their futures and pursue additional education after high school, with 88% of participants matriculating to college. Through the program, students report growth in skills, mindsets, and assets linked to personal, academic, and career success, with 83% indicating that they have set clear goals for themselves to learn and improve.
