Welcome to The Plum Tomato of Marlborough. Located in the Val's Plaza at 547 Boston Post Rd East (formerly Bruno's Pizzeria), The Plum Tomato is Marlborough's new place to go for fresh and delicious pizza, pasta, subs and salads. We are not your typical pizzeria. Our dough is made in house and always hand-stretched. Our pizza sauce is a secret recipe that is made fresh in house and our pizzas are baked in a stone lined oven, never in a pan and never in a conveyor oven like other local places. Why do we go though all this trouble.....well, because Pizza Matters of course! But we're more than just fabulous pizza. Our pasta dishes are levels above other local pizzerias and rival the quality of higher priced, trendy North End Italian restaurants. In fact, our marinara sauce is a secret house recipe that dates back decades from the North End of Boston. All of our chicken and veal dishes are hand breaded and our Alfredo sauce is made to order for every dish. What other pizza place can say that? In addition to pizza and pasta we also offer delicious, fresh salads, subs, gourmet grilled cheeses, and yummy appetizers such as our soon to be famous garbage fries - a heaping serving of fries topped with bacon, red onions, black olives, jalepenos and smothered in jack & cheddar cheese.
