OUR HISTORY In 1958 Roy Hentschel Started Roy’s Bait Shop on the sleepy outskirts of Traverse City’s East side. Roy and his wife Dora raised six children while growing the small bait shop into a general store. Customers increasingly requested Roy to carry more products.
