Discover the newest BoomTown Grill in Duluth MN. Named in 1856 Duluth has a rich history, mining of copper and iron along with other resources got the town on it's feet. Home to both a port and a railway station transportation of goods through Duluth became easy and efficient. In 1871, workers dug a canal in Duluth so ships could easily enter the harbor; and in the 1900s, Duluth’s port handled more tons yearly than New York City. Now the port warehouses have been turned into a shopping district and Duluth has set a focus on tourism but the history of the city is undeniable and evident even today.
