We had a great dinner tonight at El Nopal! I had the Carne Asada and my boyfriend had the Steak Fajitas and a margarita. All the food was tasty! Server was very attentive to us.

Place is often packed but they somehow find a way to take care of you quickly. Make sure to try the al pastor tacos or burrito which are better than any I've had in Texas or California.

Saturday night, open tables, lots of folks walking around but service "not so good"! Ordered a margarita asked what the house tequila was "Montezuma" oh my cheap, nasty tequila that I got sick...

I have been going to El Nopal for years and the chicken or shrimp soup is wonderful when you are feeling under the weather. Both my husband and I will make the trip for the other when we are down...
