This store has a great selection of fabrics and great customer service. There hours are short like 9-2pm, they also have a nice selection of yarn, hooks and notions. Free parking, limited but free

On May 1, 1995 The Nimble Thimble opened its doors for the first time. The Nimble Thimble is located at 21 Putnam Avenue in Port Chester, just on the Connecticut-New York border. We have been established here for the past twenty-three years and have grown quite a bit since we opened. Starting with thirty bolts of fabric, we are now over 3000.

Best sewing, notions, fabric store I have ever been in. They stock everything you could possible need and more. Huge selection, they have things I've struggled to find. Lots of beautiful yarn too
