Dr. Sweeney is a pediatrician at Akron Children’s Hospital, where he’s been practicing since 2020. He earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. He went on to complete his residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in sports medicine at Akron Children’s. Dr. Sweeney has a special interest in sports medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
