Karem Harth, MD

Sarah Eapen, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiac surgeon at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. Dr. Eapen’s expertise spans the surgical management of patients with aortic, coronary and valvular heart conditions. She has a special clinical interest in aortic surgery.

Ghazal Khandel, MD, MPH, is a vascular medicine specialist at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. She is skilled in the diagnosis, treatment and management of conditions affecting the arteries, veins and lymphatic vessels. This includes peripheral artery disease, varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis and carotid artery disease. Dr. Khandel completed an internal medicine residency at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio and a vascular medicine fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. She is an active member of several professional medical organizations, including the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, American Venous Forum and Society of Vascular Medicine.
