Located in Oklahoma City, Ou Medical Center s Laboratory provides clinical testing and anatomic pathology services in its more than 70,000-square-foot facility. The laboratory has more than 200 technical and clerical staffs and it performs over 140,000 laboratory tests per month. It offers various testing services that include blood analysis, drug screening and monitoring, and emergency testing of cardiac, liver and renal profiles. Ou Medical Center s Laboratory also offers courier service for specimen pickup and delivery of reports and provides a variety of educational and research opportunities for medical students. The laboratory is approved by the College of American Pathologists, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, American Association of Blood Banks and the American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunology.
