Abiqua School, founded in 1993, is an independent school offering education from kindergarten through grade 12. The school provides a child-centered developmental approach to learning and a small class size of 20 students. Its curriculum is aligned with the Oregon state benchmarks and offers education in social studies, science and language arts. Abiqua School also provides professional instruction in art, music, Spanish, physical education and computer technology. Its curriculum also includes treks off campus for all classes. The school does not discriminate between its students on the basis of race, color, creed, national and ethnic origin. Abiqua School also provides child care services and is located in Salem, Ore.

I don't personally have children that go to Abiqua, but I've had several encounters with many of the staff, as I drop off my boss' 2 boys 3x a week, and I can't say enough nice things about them....
