Hap Gallery in Portland, Oregon, was established in November 2013 as a platform for contemporary artists to explore curatorial issues and innovate gallery practices. After three years of exciting collaborations with artists and curators, the gallery has closed its doors but continues to be recognized as an important part of the local cultural scene. In the fall of 2016, Hap launched HapWorks, an online initiative that featured limited edition works by participating artists in an effort to make contemporary art more accessible to a broader audience.
