Chalkboard pursues this goal through a combination of information and education of the public, pursuing proven educational practices in the policy process, and piloting promising practices in over 50 schools in our state.One of the Chalkboard Project's most exciting and transformative pilot projects is the Creative Leadership Achieves Student Success ( CLASS ) Project. Through this project three Oregon school districts are working with national and local experts to redesign career pathways, professional development, performance evaluations, and compensation systems for teachers, administrators, and, in some cases, classified staff in their school districts. Nine additional districts have joined the project and are in the design phase.The Chalkboard Project is seeking a CLASS Project Coach. The CLASS Project Coach will assist Chalkboard in the development and refinement of the pilot implementation of the CLASS Project in Oregon school districts.
