The historic Gardner Hotel has been under new management since 2016 but has maintained its history and is still a family business, so you can enjoy the historic charm and receive a familiar welcome! The Gardner Hotel is the oldest continually operating hotel and hostel in the city of El Paso, Texas, located near Downtown and all the pubs, cafes and clubs that encircle the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Our hotel reception has plenty of historical memorabilia for you to enjoy, and the 50 rooms still have their original antique furniture, with the exception of a few necessary upgrades, to give you a small taste of the history we have to offer.
