Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milk shakes. Food was good. Room was clean. Order came up quick. But fair warning- SALT is the #1 ingredient. Also, the staff do their job but don't seem very happy being there.
